An uncommon long box “4U” gift pack containing the cassette tape single of 'The Most Beautiful Girl in the World' and 'Beautiful,’ 5˝ x 11˝ x .5˝, with the inner dedication field annotated in purple ink, “To: U, From: The New Power Generation, 1st Time We Met: April 30, 1994, The Beautiful Luncheon, Why I Fell in Love: Because you are the most beautiful girl in the world, The Future: 2gether.”
Three original programs for “The Beautiful Luncheon: A Tribute to Women,” 5.75˝ x 8.75˝, which was held at the Azur Ballroom on April 30, 1994, which lists a special showing of ‘The Beautiful Experience,’ and a list of honorees: Marylou Badeaux, Marva Collins, Cathay Hughes, Mona Moede, and Mavis Staples.
Original tri-fold ‘CD booklet’ invitation for Prince’s performance of ‘The Beautiful Experience’ at Paisley Park on February 12, 1994, measures 14.25 x 4.75 open, with the inside bearing white printed text: “4 u and another, Saturday, February 12, 1994” and “Time: 12:00 midnight until ?, Paisley Park Studios, 7801 Audubon Road, Chanhassen, MN.” In overall fine condition, with a couple of light stains to the long box.
From the collection of Marylou Badeaux, a former Warner Bros. Records executive who spent 25 years in the label's R&B and jazz departments and served as Vice President of Special Projects. During her tenure, Badaeux developed a close working relationship with Prince, with whom she closely collaborated for nearly two decades.
