Fantastic black satin bomber jacket from Eric Clapton's 1979 tour of the United States, size medium, with silkscreened lettering in yellow on the back, "Eric Clapton And His Band, U.S.A. Tour '79," plus "Jay" and "Concerts West" on the chest. The jacket features a snap button placket, two slash pockets trimmed in yellow, white cotton lining, and black-and-yellow jersey cuffs, neck and waist band. The "Felco, N.Y." maker's tag is sewn inside the neck. In fine to very fine condition. Originates from the collection of a tour manager who worked for Concerts West in the 1970s, and subsequently as an independent contractor providing tour management and entertainment accounting services in the early 1980s.
