Original 1930 ‘Cardinal and White’ yearbook for Whittier Union High School in Whittier, California, 191 pages, 8.25 x 10.75. Nixon graduated from Whittier Union High School in California in 1930, after transferring from Fullerton High School at the end of his sophomore year. The school's yearbook includes several photographs of Nixon: on page 24 as a Student Body Officer; on page 33 as a member of the senior class; on page 73 as a member of the newspaper staff; on page 77 as a member of the Scholarship Society; on page 95 as a member of the athletics managing staff; and on page 155 as a member of the Constitutional Orators. Nixon’s name is also listed throughout the yearbook for myriad activities. Nixon's first girlfriend, Ola Florence Welch, is pictured on page 42 in the class listings and on page 80 as a member of the Latin Club. In fine condition.
