Civil War-dated The Bank of Kinderhook check, 6.25 x 2.75, filled out and signed by Martin Van Buren, "M. Van Buren," payable to James Hyland for $17.27, December 7 [year indecipherable]. In fine condition. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder. Van Buren checks are considered among the rarer of presidential checks and perhaps the rarest format for a Van Buren autograph.
