Two items: a TLS, signed "Louis Mountbatten," one page, 4.25 x 7, South East Asia Command Headquarters letterhead, January 29 1946, in part: "Lieutenant Colonel E. F. Noonan, Director of Service Relations, H.Q. S.A.C.S.E.A. is proceeding to the U.K. under my instructions on urgent business. It is requested that he may be given every facility to complete his journey without delay"; and a signature, "Mountbatten of Burma," on a 4 x 1 clipped slip, paperclipped to a transmittal note: "With the Compliments of the Secretary to the First Sea Lord." In fine condition.
