(MGM Studios, 1993) Original production cel and hand-painted pan master background form ‘Pinky in Paradise,’ the first segment of the fifth episode of the first season of the Pink Panther television series, which originally aired on September 14, 1993. The cel, which depicts the title character in a full-length pose and is signed in black felt tip by Friz Freleng, is placed on a beautiful hand-painted production background from the same episode: the brightly lit and vividly colored interior of a tribal cottage. The Pink Panther image measures 4 x 5.5, and the master background measures 29.5 x 10.5. The cel bears an affixed Pink Panther seal and the lower right border of the background is marked as “PP-56, BG 38.” In fine condition.
