A section of Space Shuttle wing insulation with its mounting bracket affixed to the underside; the Inconel external insulation layer exhibits characteristic exposure to high thermal stress from reentry and is presumed flown. Section measures approximately 8.5˝ x 8˝ x 4˝ and is marked with part numbers: "V070-190018-001, S/N 003, 25167." Part is also marked "Scrap" on both sides. In fine condition.
