"A checklist page flown on Gemini V"—certified by the pilot of the record-setting spaceflight

Flown 10.5 x 8 double-sided checklist page carried on the Gemini 5 mission, signed and flight-certified along the bottom edge by Pilot Charles Conrad, "A checklist page flown on Gemini V, Charles Conrad, Jr." Both sides feature an array of boxes labeled "Area," with blank spaces for recording data related to "GMTRC," "RET 400K," "RETRB," "BL," "BR," "RET D," and "RET M." In fine condition.

Gemini 5, launched on August 21, 1965, was a NASA mission that set a new endurance record by spending nearly eight days in space, proving that astronauts could survive the long-duration missions necessary for a moon landing. Commanded by Gordon Cooper and piloted by Pete Conrad, the spacecraft tested fuel cell technology for extended spaceflight and conducted scientific experiments. Despite initial problems with fuel cells and navigation, the mission successfully demonstrated the feasibility of long-term human spaceflight.
