Sought-after Macintosh dealer's sign, featuring a 10″ x 10″ etched glass panel with the iconic Macintosh 'Picasso' logo, set upon a 13″ x 3″ x 2″ base, which does not contain the required fluorescent light bulb. Includes a replacement etched ‘Picasso’ glass panel, which bears a small chip to the lower right corner. In very good to fine condition, with toning and scuffs to the base, and a small chip to the upper right of glass panel. Released during the rollout of the Macintosh in 1984, these signs were given out to dealers, developers, and key personnel, and as promo items—it has been estimated that approximately 2,500 of these lighted displays were produced.
