Two items: a vintage matte-finish 4.75 x 6.75 photo of the illustrious violinist and composer, neatly signed in the lower border in fountain pen, "Fritz Kreisler"; and an ALS, one page, 6.25 x 7, River House letterhead, January 1, 1952, in full: "Many, many thanks for your kind beautiful letter. My dear Harriet, being not able to write you, because she is in the hospital undergoing a strenuous streptomyocin treatment against septicaemia, please accept this expression of our joint gratitude." In overall fine condition, with a short tear to the bottom edge of the photo.
