Group of five original vintage press and wire photos of Al Capone, his residences, and family members, circa 1938–1972, ranging in size from 6 x 8 to 8 x 10, all with captions or news stamps on the reverse. Includes: a photo of Al Capone and his mother at Capone's home in Miami (1938); a photo of Baltimore Memorial Hospital, where Capone was treated after being released from federal custody (1938); a photo of Capone's duplex cottage in Baltimore (1940); a photo of Al Capone's wife, Mae, after a visit to see him at Alcatraz (1971); and a photo of Capone's 14-room waterfront Miami mansion (1972). In overall very good to fine condition, with some creasing to the photo of Capone and his mother.
