Desirable ink signatures of Napoleon Bonaparte, “Bonaparte,” and his first wife, Josephine de Beauharnais, “payez, Josephine.” Napoleon has signed boldly at the bottom of a secretarially penned letter on an off-white 3.75 x 2.75 sheet, and Josephine has signed on an off-white 2 x .75 slip. Both are matted together with an engraved print to an overall size of 8.25 x 11.75. In overall fine condition, with a fold passing through Napoleon's signature.
