The image shows President Lincoln on his deathbed at the Petersen House with Mary Todd, Robert Todd, and Tad Lincoln by his side, as well as key political allies and cabinet members, including: Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase, Vice President Andrew Johnson, Secretary of the Treasury Hugh McCulloch, Charles Sumner, Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton, and Secretary of the Navy Gideon Welles.
