Original unused and unfolded dust jacket for the first edition, first printing of The Watchers Out of Time and Others by H. P. Lovecraft and August Derleth, 20 x 8, published by Arkham House in 1974. The jacket features wonderfully weird artwork by Herb Arnold, drawing upon themes from the Cthulhu Mythos. In very fine condition. Consignor notes that this originates from the printer's vault, where two mint copies of each dust jacket were kept on file in case they had to be reprinted.
The Watchers Out of Time and Others is an omnibus collection of horror and science fiction stories by August Derleth, drawing inspiration from the works and notes of H. P.
