Description

Original unused and unfolded dust jacket for the first edition, first printing of Revolt in 2100 by Robert A. Heinlein, 20.5 x 8.25, published by Shasta Publishers in 1953. The jacket features great mid-century cover art by Hubert Rogers, showing a man beside an atomic model. In fine condition. Consignor notes that this originates from the printer's vault, where two mint copies of each dust jacket were kept on file in case they had to be reprinted.

Revolt in 2100 is a 1953 science fiction collection by American author Robert A. Heinlein. It consists of novellas and short stories set in a dystopian future, exploring themes of rebellion, freedom, and the dangers of authoritarianism. Reviewer Groff Conklin described the book as 'a classic' and the lead story, 'If This Goes On—,' as 'a smashing tale of revolution in the United States.'
