Desirable trio of relics removed from the White House during its expansive renovations undertaken by Harry S. Truman in 1950—a hand-forged nail and white and black stones (apparently limestone and granite)—with presentation plaque, "Original White House Material Removed in 1950," encased in a lucite/acrylic block measuring 4˝ x 3.25˝ x 1.25˝. In fine condition, with light scuffing to block.
