Four signed items: a fountain pen signature, "Richard Nixon," on an off-white 3.75 x 1.25 slip clipped from the close of a letter; a blue felt tip signature, "Garld Ford," on a white 3 x 4.5 gilt-stamped White House card; a pencil signature and inscription, "To Tommy, with best wishes! Pat Nixon," on a folded placemat from Hot Shoppes Restaurants and Pantry Houses; and a TLS signed "Betty Ford," one page, 8.5 x 11, Betty Ford Center letterhead, January 10, 1983, in part: "On October 3rd, this exciting new facility was dedicated with the help of Vice President and Mrs. George Bush and about 400 contributors and friends of the Center…The beginning of operation—that all important move from development to actual patient treatment—has been the realization of a dream for all of us."
