Highly appealing vintage matte-finish 6.75 x 8.5 portrait photo of Queen Elizabeth II in a radiant full-length pose at the top of the Grand Staircase in Buckingham Palace, an image originally taken by Anthony Armstrong-Jones, which pictures the queen wearing her long-trained Parliamentary Robe, a tiara of diamonds and pearls and the Collar of the Garter, affixed to its original 7.75 x 9.75 mount, which is signed neatly below in black ink, “Elizabeth R., 1960.” In very good to fine condition, with trimming to the mount, and two creases to the lower part of the image, as well as silvering to its perimeter. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as "NM-MT 8.” In 1960, Elizabeth's only sibling, Princess Margaret, married British photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones, who was created Earl of Snowdon the following year.
