Two signed personal checks: an 8.25 x 3 check, filled out in type and signed by Ball, "Lucille Ball Arnaz," payable to Hazel Pierce for $9.50, September 20, 1954; and an 8.25 x 3 check, filled out in type and signed by Arnaz, "Desi Arnaz," payable to Rupp's Supply for $23.16, November 9, 1954. In overall fine condition. Hazel Pierce (1896–1987) was a longtime friend of Lucille Ball, appearing as an extra in countless background party scenes on the TV show 'I Love Lucy.'
