Letter to Paul Carr of the Universal Autograph Collectors Club, in part: "Belated thanks for your letter and that wonderful old postcard of Kennebunk Beach. Barbara and I love memorabilia like this and are delighted you thought to send it to us. I am especially pleased to have the letter signed by my father. Thank you for this kind gesture of friendship." In very fine condition. Accompanied by a faded felt tip signature of his wife, "Barbara Bush, September 20, 1985," on an off-white 3.5 x 3.5 card, imprinted: "The Vice President's House."
