Two signed items: an official White House card, 4. x 2.5, neatly signed in fountain pen by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt; and a TLS, one page, 6 x 9.25, White House letterhead, January 14, 1944, to FDR's private secretary Grace Tully, in full: "I am planning to have the usual birthday party for the President on Saturday evening, January twenty-ninth, at seven o'clock. We both hope you can be with us and look forward to seeing you." Also includes the admittance pass for the northwest gate of the White House issued to Tully for seven o'clock on January 29, 1944. In very fine condition.
