Sandstrom, Paul, participated in the athletics tournament." The diploma features artwork by Bernard Naudin, which depicts the winged goddess of Victory between athletes and columns decorated with winners’ wreaths. Lower portion bears facsimile signatures of French Committee President Graf Justinien de Clary and IOC President Pierre de Coubertin. Mounted to a slightly larger canvas backing and in very good to fine condition, with toning, scattered creases, and edgewear.
