Sought-after official participation diploma from the Garmisch 1936 Winter Olympics, 13.75 x 19.25, issued to Walter Schneider for (translated) “comradely assisting the Organizing Committee.” Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by the committee's president, Karl Ritter von Halt, and secretary general, Peter von le Fort. In fine condition, with light creases and two small tears to edges, which could all be matted out if so desired.
