Small souvenir medal from the Athens 1896 Olympics. Bronze, 23 mm, 10 gm. One side features the image of a laurel wreath with embossed text in Greek (translated): “Olympic Games, 776 x 1896”; the other portrays the Panathenaic Stadium, with upper and lower text: “Panathinaikon Stadium, Herodis - Averof, Athens.”
