Collection of eight ‘Olympic Games Sections’ from issues of the Los Angeles Times covering the historic Los Angeles 1932 Summer Olympics, each section 17.25 x 23 and approximately 8 pages, dated between August 2 and 10, 1932. Notable headlines from each section include:

August 2nd: “Tolan Wins Disputed 100 Meters” (pictured), “Second Day a Thriller, Nations Divide Honors,” “Michigan Negro and Irish Doctor Outstanding Heroes of Colorful Spectacle,” and “Metcalfe Close Second as Jonath Takes Third.”

August 3rd: “Disasters Mar Hot Pentathlon / Riders, Horses Hurt in Spills” (pictured), “America Leads, Ireland Second, Canada Third / Sensations Continue as World and Olympic Records Fall Fast and Furious,” and “Tom Hampson of Great Britain Sets New 800-Meter Record.”
