Bracket-bound manual entitled "Project Mercury (CCMTA) Launch Countdown, Mercury MA -7," housed in a 9 x 11.5 cardstock binder, with a revision date of April 20, 1962. A prefatory page outlines its purpose: "This document is to be used as a guide for the operations performed in preparing MA-7 Mercury capsule for launch. The checkout procedure outlined in this document is designed to insure a flight readiness condition for the capsule systems prior to launch. The booster checkout is the responsibility of GD/A and the countdown per GD/A test document will be performed in conjunction with capsule countdown." Manny pages are annotated in pencil, checking off steps as they were completed. Also housed in the binder are photocopies of the MA-7 mission rules and flight plan. In fine condition, with expected light wear.
