Group of 32 scarce tickets and ticket stubs for The Allman Bros. Band's concert at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester, England on January 14, 1974, supported by The Marshall Tucker Band during their 'European Campaign '74.' All are green tickets and stubs for the "Centre Circle" (£2.00). In overall very good to fine condition, with some scattered creasing.
The Allman Bros. 'European Campaign' brought them to Great Britain, Switzerland, France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, and Holland for a brief series of eleven concerts in early 1974. The band's set list at the Free Trade Hall is likely to have included such classics as 'Stormy Monday,' 'Midnight Rider,' 'Ramblin' Man,' 'Statesboro Blues,' and 'Whipping Post.' With their signature blend of blues, rock, and improvisation, the Allman Bros. captivated European audiences with a distinctly American sound.
