Rate gyroscope from a non-spacecraft application, originating from NASA Langley Research Center, measuring approximately 4″ x 2″ x 2″, with an R.C. Allen label on the end: "Rate Gyroscope, Model E2880-048, Ser. 306, Input 28 VDC, Output 5 VDC into 50K Ω Load, Max Rate 3 Rad°/Sec." Also bears a NASA-LRC calibration label on the side. In fine condition, with overall wear.
