Two identical portfolios presented by Juan Antonio Samaranch to IOC members in 1994 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the revival of the Olympic Games, which occurred with the Congres International Athletique de Paris (the inaugural Olympic Congress) in June 1894. The large 13 x 17.75 portfolio contains reproductions of 1894 publications about the revival of the Olympic Games, including posters, broadsides, images, and newspapers, as well as some contents on the history of the Games in Paris. In overall fine condition.
