Pair of bright orange 3.5 x 2.5 backstage passes for The Arsenio Hall Show at Paramount Studios, both stamp-dated February 25, 1993, and annotated with the names of Prince's former managers, Paisley Park executives Gilbert Davison and Jill Willis. Prince appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show to preview his Act I Tour, playing a four-song set: 'My Name Is Prince,' 'The Morning Papers,' 'Blue Light,' and 'The Max.' The passes are affixed on opposite sides of a 4 x 6 sheet of Four Seasons hotel stationery. In very good to fine condition, with paper loss to the center of Willis's pass.
Prince's former co-manager Jill Willis notes: "This brings back memories! I must have saved these passes as a memento in the same way I might have saved some ticket stubs. Prince performed four songs from on Arsenio to help promote the 'Act I' Tour that was kicking off in March in Florida. The Four Seasons on Doheny Road in Beverly Hills was our 'home away from home' when we traveled to Los Angeles and I usually had one of their note pads with me."
