Rare participation medal issued by the Greek Organizing Committee at the Athens 1906 Unofficial Olympics. Silvered bronze, 14 gm, 25 mm x 38 mm, with the front depicting an ancient Greek coin of Kos from circa 460 BC with a nude discus thrower, and the reverse featuring a four-line Greek legend. Medal features a loop and ring to the top.
