Handwritten office notes by Skylab 4 Pilot Bill Pogue removed from a notebook he used during an Earth resources program in 1976, unsigned, written in pencil on two 5.5 x 8.75 notebook pages. Also includes six additional items, all signed in ballpoint or felt tip, the last two deriving from Pogue’s personal collection: a color satin-finish 8 x 10 photo of Pogue in his Skylanb flight suit; an official glossy 10 x 8 red-numbered NASA photo (AS11-37-5437) of the Sea of Tranquility, with Pogue adding “Support Crew Apollo 11, 1968-69”; an Oklahoma Centennial Post-Parade Celebration invitation; a stapled packet entitled “Conference on R&D Productivity: New Challenges for the U.S. Space Program”; a program for a dinner held by The Guild of Tulsa Opera; and a program for USO Night at the Tulsa Air and Space Center. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a group of five homework and lesson plan sheets from Pogue’s employment as an assistant professor in the United States Air Force Academy's mathematics department in the early 1960s.
