Sought-after pairing of ink signatures, “Th: Jefferson" as president and "James Madison" as secretary of state, on an off-white 8.5 x 2.75 slip clipped from a presidential document, dated January 8, 1808. In very good condition, with creasing, wrinkling, and staining, some of which affect the somewhat light signature. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder.
