Interesting pairing of the front pages of two San Francisco Chronicle newspapers covering the Apollo 11 lunar landing, each signed in black felt tip, "Gerald R. Ford, 38th President." Includes the front pages from July 21, 1969 ("Men On Moon: Astronauts Walk on Lunar Soil") and July 25, 1969 ("The Great Day: Man's Moon Adventure Ends Safely"). In fine condition, with irregular trimming to the earlier edition. Gerald Ford was serving as House Minority Leader during the period of the Apollo lunar landings.
