The cel shows the teddy bear holding and admiring his beloved jar of honey. The cel is placed on a matching Disney litho background. Images measure 4 x 4.75 (Pooh and honey), with a mat opening of 11 x 8. The piece has the silver Walt Disney Television seal to lower right. Housed in its original Walt Disney Television Animation Art presentation envelope, with label to reverse marked “23-WTP-100.” In fine, still-sealed condition, with wear to the envelope, including a staple and two tears to bottom flap. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Walt Disney Company. During its four-season run, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh earned strong reviews from critics, parents, and children alike, winning back-to-back Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program in addition to two Humanitas Prizes. The show is credited with bringing about a resurgence of Pooh animated media.
