Rare vintage 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of the esteemed Russian scribe in profile, signed in the lower border in black ink by Leo Tolstoy. In very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, a crease passing through Tolstoy's beard, and the dark background colored-in in an unknown hand. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as "NM-MT 8." A coveted portrait of the revered Russian writer.
