Collection of six spare name tags and flag patches designed for crew members of the Soyuz MS-18 mission, which launched on April 9, 2021, marking the 146th flight of a crewed Soyuz spacecraft. The name tags were made for Commander Oleg Novitsky and Flight Engineers Pyotr Dubrov and Mark T. Vande Hei. Each embroidered name tag measures 4.5″ x 1.75″ and features the cosmonaut and astronaut names in English and Cyrillic in beautiful gold thread, and the three flag shoulder patches (Russian Imperial and American) each measure 3.5″ x 2.5″; the reverse of each name tag and patch features male hoop Velcro. Includes three glossy photos of the crew wearing similar name tags and patches during the mission. In overall fine condition.
The flight served as the landing vehicle for Russian film director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild, who launched to the ISS aboard Soyuz MS-19 and spent 12 days in space in order to film 'Vyzov' [The Challenge], which will be the first feature-length fiction film to be filmed in space by professional filmmakers.
