Original satin-finish 8 x 10 photo of Mapplethorpe's famous 'torso' model Charles, taken by Robert Mapplethorpe during the iconic 'Charles Torso 1985' sessions, showing the model in unzipping a white jacket. In fine condition, with a couple light surface creases and some adhesive residue to lower left. Consignor notes that this originates from the personal collection of Charles, and was given to Charles by Mapplethorpe at his 23rd Street studio between 5th and 6th Avenues in 1985.
