Original circa 1969 glossy 10.25 x 8 photo of Janis Joplin singing during her famous performance on the television show, This Is Tom Jones. The reverse bears two affixed Pictorial Press copyright labels and a PolyGram copyright label. In fine condition, with some small creases to edges. During the second season of This Is Tom Jones, Joplin appeared as a special guest on the program, which aired on December 4, 1969. Her duet with Jones on the song ‘Raise Your Hand’ has been widely cited as one of the show’s best musical moments.
