British Conservative statesman (1848-1930) who served as prime minister from 1902 to 1905; his Balfour Declaration, issued in 1917, established a national home in Palestine for the Jewish people. Vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of Balfour by the London Stereoscopic Co., signed along the bottom in fountain pen. In fine condition, with some light edge silvering, and trivial loss to the lower left corner tip. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder.
