Desirable set of six autographs of notable high-ranking officers from the Spanish-American War, each signing on an off-white 4 x 2.25 card, five of which bear small affixed American flags. Signers include: Major Generals Joseph ‘Fighting Joe’ Wheeler and William Rufus Shafter, Lieutenant General Nelson A. Miles, and Rear Admirals John Woodward Philip, Winfield Scott Schley, and Charles Dwight Sigsbee. In overall fine condition, with a tear to the bottom of the Miles card.
