Appealing original glossy 8 x 10 silver gelatin photo of Andy Warhol by Lorenz Gude from 1964, depicting the famed pop artist wearing sunglasses in a handsome close-up pose. Annotated on the reverse in an unknown hand. In very good to fine condition, with a crease to the upper right corner.
This image famously appeared in the Autumn 1965 issue of Kulchur magazine, cleverly positioned adjacent to a page containing an appropriated version of Duchamp’s famous ‘Wanted’ poster that instead featured images of poet Ted Berrigan and artist Joe Brainard.
