Three items signed by author Robin Moore: a first edition of The Green Berets, hardcover, published by Crown Publishing in 1965, signed on the first free end page in green felt tip by Moore and in black ink by William P. Yarborough, ‘the Father of the Modern Green Berets’; an issue of the ACG comic book Tales of the Green Berets, signed on the front cover and then on the first page in green ink by Moore; and a framed Tales of the Green Berets comic strip from April 10, 1966, signed in the last panel in black ink by Moore. Also includes a ‘United States Army Special Warfare School’ diploma issued to “Mr. Robert L. Moore, Jr.,” dated September 16, 1963, with the lower portion bearing a stamped signature of Yarborough. In overall very good to fine condition, with toning and edgewear to the signed book page, and separation to the inner hinge. Accompanied by personal calling cards for Moore and Yarborough, and by the book’s original dust jacket, which is in good, fragile condition: toning, tattered edges, and the covers and inner flaps separated.
