(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original production cel set-up featuring Jiminy Cricket and a seagull from Pinocchio, with a special effects cel of the ocean. The cel has been trimmed and applied to a hand-painted background as prepared by Courvoisier Galleries for sale. Images measure 3 x 4 (Jiminy Cricket) and 3.25 x 3.25 (seagull), with a mat opening of 8.5 x 7. Newly matted by S/R Laboratories with permission by Disney to an overall size of 14.5 x 13.5; reverse of mat bears a printed copy of the original Courvoisier Galleries label. In fine condition, with bumped corners to the mat.
