The beautifully rendered background shows the cottage's wooden floor planks, an ornate turned post, and a jug with cover askew. The cels have been trimmed to image and applied to an original hand-painted master background as prepared by Courvoisier Galleries for sale. Character images measure 2.5 x 5 (Bashful) and 3.25 x 5.25 (Happy), with a mat opening of 12 x 8.5. Double-matted to an overall size of 16.5 x 13.5. In fine condition. A stunning and well-preserved piece from Disney's pioneering first animated feature.
