Two mailing envelopes, 6.5 x 3.75, both postmarked at Washington, D.C., on November 2, 1948, the date of the 1948 United States presidential election, individually signed by the respective Democratic and Republican candidates in blue ballpoint, “Harry S. Truman,” and in fountain pen, “Thomas E. Dewey.” The Truman envelope is likewise desirably signed by his wife and daughter, Bess and Margaret Truman. In overall fine condition.
