Graded by PSA VG-EX 4. Classic rookie card of the Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer, featuring a wonderful color portrait, black-and-white full-length pose, and the young slugger's facsimile signature against a bright orange background. The card is well-centered with vivd colors and an even glossy sheen. The youngster’s confidence is exposed by the smirk in his portrait: after a modest first season, he would go on to lead the Majors in hits (200) and batting average (.340) in 1955. During his 22-year career, Kaline would attain 3,007 hits while walloping 399 homers.
