Two ALSs by the New York governors: one signed "Horatio Seymour," one page, March 16, 1882, replying to some correspondence after an illness; and one signed "E. D. Morgan," one page, State of New York Executive Department letterhead, January 21, 1862, transmitting a wartime resolution of the State Assembly to Erastus Corning. In fine condition, with trimming to the bottom of the Morgan letter.
