Janet Jackson’s personally-owned and -worn black leather trench coat, which she wore the night she presented at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on September 4, 1997. The soft leather coat, size 38/6, made by Faycal Amor, Plein Sud of Paris, features a short collar, front zipper, and long coattails. In fine condition. At the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards, Jackson presented filmmaker Mark Romanek with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, a special award of merit given to recording artists and music video directors.
