English pen-and-ink drawing after a satirical print by Mr. Wright, 8.5 x 12.5, entitled "The Lord Chancellor taken disguis'd in Wapping." Inscribed on the verso in pencil: "A factsimilar drawing from Mr. Wright print." Reverse also bears the ink stamp of English collector Alfred Morrison (1821-1897). The original artwork was published in 1688. In fine condition. A meticulously hand-drawn work of great scarcity.
